An international provider of integrated maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for rotorcraft aviation. Lithuania based, mostly European customers. Helisota supports various government and private rotorcraft operators in 25 countries worldwide.
Helisota historically repaired 20 Rotorcraft MRO’s each year. Operational chaos was assumed to be normal for a busy shop: constant schedule and priority changes, limitation of skilled resources and difficulty in tracking work flow.
After 7 months of Exepron installation and Coaching: the 2016 capacity exceeds 30 Aircraft with minimal increase in Resources. Helisota is now managing all work in Exepron, including back shops. Helisota implemented Exepron CCPM in March 2015 and are very happy so far with the results. Exepron Solution reduced Turn Around Time (TAT) by 52%.

After reducing the turnaround time, Helisota faced another challenge, albeit one that many companies would like to have. As explained by Gediminas Boladas, Chief Operations Officer, at Helisota.
“ Turn Around Time (TAT) reduction is 52% and Helisota is now faced with another challenge, the market reaction was so positively furious that we were immediately overloaded and most projects moved to red because of insufficient capacity to manage all market demand. We also hit another constraint which now moved to procurement of spares. Exepron pointed out Bottleneck operations and Resource constraint.”
